I must be missing something. I don't see how that would be desired if the effect starts drawing from the location of the "Start Drawing" button. But in the gifs in the tutorial, you start drawing at-will somewhere in the canvas. Is there a hotkey on the keyboard to Start Drawing so you can have your mouse cursor in position on the canvas?
i bought this tool today and i can tell just by doing a few practice works that itll save my time with making clean animations without having to do math and calculate the wind trajectory
Ohhhh, this all looks so so good. My brain's confused cuz of the buttons and dials, but the end product is absolutely stellar. I wanna learn it all. Thanks for developing these tools!!!
Hi heosphorus, it will only draw by itself if the start drawing button is active. And as for the current version youre not suppose to click the mouse, instead you use the 'start drawing' button to draw(can be controlled with a hotkey number 2). if its still drawing even if 'start drawing' button is not active, maybe try restarting Aseprite.
Ahhhhh I was clicking on the ‘start drawing’ button instead of using a shortcut. I was drawing my way to the button and it was driving me crazy XD Thanks!
The goal is really to use mouse click, but its too tricky for now. Maybe soon on future updates ill get rid of the drawing button. Thank you for the support. Enjoy!

I seem to have an issue where it doesn't draw on the frames as the animation is playing. My entire brush stroke only shows up on the very last frame.
It sort of works if I use "start drawing", but the issue is that it just draws without clicking. That's not useful, is there a way to click to draw?
Hi, Live Draw works a bit differently from normal drawing.
There are only two controls you need to remember:
Once drawing is enabled, simply move your mouse over the canvas to draw - no clicking needed.

Is it normal for it to draw by itself without clicking the mouse? I'm trying and reading the tutorial a bit, but it draws where I place the mouse.
